Process

Five stages, no surprises

The stages below are the same whether you are opening with one product or extending an existing range into a second dosage form.

Nothing is committed to production before you have held a sample.
  1. Brief & qualification

You send the destination market, dosage form, pack count, formulation position and expected first-order volume. We send back a feasibility position, a sampling plan and an indicative FOB band.

From you: those five inputs, plus your brand name and label bearer.

  2. Sampling

Physical samples are produced against the brief, with a specification sheet. Formulation, flavour, chew size and pack count are all adjustable here.

From you: confirmation of the sample, or the list of changes.

  3. Label & compliance pack

Artwork is reviewed against your destination market and the eight-part pack is assembled. Ingredient order, allergen declaration, nutrient adequacy wording and the permitted-claims checklist are settled here.

From you: your artwork, and sign-off from whoever carries your regulatory responsibility.

  4. Production & QC

The order is produced. Panel testing runs against the agreed list, and a certificate of analysis is issued per batch. The delivery acceptance checklist is the sign-off document at this stage.

From you: purchase order and agreed payment terms.

  5. Export & documentation

Loading at the agreed FOB port, or sea-freight DDP where volume justifies it. The shipping set — invoice, packing list and the documents your customs broker needs — is prepared to your instructions.

From you: consignee details and any broker requirements specific to your market.

Two rules

Set before we start, not negotiated later

Rule one

FOB by default. DDP by sea freight only.

Jars and tubs are heavy for their value. Air freight on a private label supplement order usually destroys the margin for both sides, so we do not offer it as a delivery term. DDP is quoted where a consolidated or full-load sea shipment is viable, and the freight clause is broken out separately on the quotation so you can see exactly what you are paying for it.

Rule two

Change orders stop being free after artwork.

Formulation, flavour and pack count are open at sampling. Once artwork has gone to print and the run is scheduled, a change means reprinting and rescheduling. We will always tell you which stage you are in and what a change costs before you make it.

Before you write

Five inputs that keep the first reply useful

  • Destination market — US, EU, UK or elsewhere. Labelling and claims differ.
  • Dosage form — soft chew, softgel, powder or tablet.
  • Pack count — chews or capsules per jar or bottle.
  • Formulation position — your own formula, or a brief for us to work to.
  • First-order volume — even an estimate changes the price band materially.
